Accounts, orders and messages

An account stores your name, verified email, security credentials, communication preferences and records connected to your purchases or conversations. The author and authorized site administrators can access the information needed to respond and arrange fulfillment. Other customers cannot access your records.

Payments

Payments are handled through Stripe’s hosted payment page when purchasing is available. This site does not collect or store your full payment-card details. Order details, payment status and shipping information are stored to support your purchase.

Shipping quotes and fulfillment

When you request a shipping quote on the checkout page, the site sends your delivery address to ShipStation to obtain available shipping services. Your contact details, selected address, book quantity and shipping charge are saved to process and fulfill your purchase and passed to Stripe when you continue to payment. After payment, the order and delivery details are sent to ShipStation so the author can arrange shipping. The Amazon purchase option takes you to Amazon, where its own checkout and privacy terms apply.

Newsletters and service messages

Newsletter updates are optional. The signup form sends your email address and any first and last names you provide directly to Mailchimp, which manages subscriptions and delivers the author’s newsletters. Mailchimp displays the signup result and any further confirmation steps. You can unsubscribe or update your preferences using the links in a newsletter email. Account verification, order and support messages are separate from marketing preferences.

Infrastructure and cookies

Cloudflare hosts the site and its database. Transactional emails are delivered through the configured email provider. Essential session cookies keep you signed in and protect account actions. Stripe’s checkout collects device and interaction information, including cookies and IP addresses, to provide payment services and prevent fraud. See Stripe’s privacy policy. This site does not use advertising trackers or separate audience analytics.

Requests about your information

Contact the author to ask about access, correction or deletion. Some transaction information may need to be retained for legitimate record-keeping. The author will review the request and explain what can be changed or removed.
